Background
The client had an extremely large garden situated on a
hillside. All but 3m was level and as a result she was
unable to enjoy or make use of her garden. In addition, the
steep bank was very close to the back of the house which
blocked a considerable amount of light into her living room.
Scope of works included
- Bank Excavations
- Retaining Walls
- Drainage
- Decking
- Fencing
Points of note
We excavated the steep bank by 4m creating additional
space. The bank was then retained using Oak Sleepers and
steel girders. We used decking to create a continuum of
space.
